Two-Factor Authentication

After logging in, you may be required to verify your identity using two factors: your username and password, plus an authentication code which is delivered via email or text message. Authentication codes are one-time unique numeric codes composed of six random digits. This process ensures the security of your account.

The Verification Required page opens after your initial login and provides a selection of authentication code delivery methods, as well as a link to enter the code. Refer to the Logging In help topic for more information about accessing mySedgwick.

Note: These features do not apply to users who access mySedgwick via single sign-on (SSO).

Generating and Entering an Authentication Code

  1. From the Verification Required page, select Email or Text Message as your preferred method of receiving the code. Only contact methods already on record for your account are available.
  2. Click Next to generate a request for the authentication code, which will be sent via your selected delivery method. Codes received by email are sent from no-reply@sedgwick.com. The the Enter Authentication Code page opens.
  3. Once you have received the six-digit code, enter it in the field provided on the Enter Authentication Code page.
  4. If you do not want to verify your login with an authentication code each time you use the current device and browser, ensure Remember this device is selected. This option may not be available to you.
  5. Click Submit to log in.

If needed, a Resend Code button is available to request a new code. Repeated incorrect code entries result in being locked out of your account. You must enter an authentication code within 10 minutes of receipt or you will need to request another one.
